Hannah’s collection of pieces that are in the gallery are inspired by the Four Corners/Colorado Plateau region that we are in.
Living in Durango, Colorado, Hannah has immersed herself in exploring significant landmarks of the area, places that hold significance, spirit, beauty, adventure, and color. The landscapes of this area are diverse – a mix of conifer forests, high deserts, alpine mountains, deep canyons, sage covered plateaus. Hannah is inspired by these landscapes because of the rich color, depth, and chills they give when visited. Many of her paintings are done outdoors or in nature, and then brought into the studio to refine.
If she’s not painting or in the wilderness, you can find her mountain biking at the local trails, paddle boarding the Animas River, sipping coffee with friends or rock climbing in the desert.
