STATEMENT
I enjoy using a medium that is accessible to anyone. Therein lays the challenge for me of setting myself apart from others by expressing new designs that are pleasing to the eye in unique and original ways. I am experimental and typically don’t repeat a design even if there is a demand for it. I feel like I am on a creative trek. Many times I wake up in the middle of the night to work on a piece.
I am fascinated with the rich and brilliant qualities of glass. My work is abstract in the sense that form is not really as
important to me as the patterns and shapes and colors.
When a piece is complete I like to hold it and rotate it in all
directions to see how it absorbs and reflects light.
I am moving towards larger scale pieces in collaboration with a steel sculptor. Thank you for taking the time to read about my passion. I hope my work brightens your day.
